A real Diva and Living Legend has passed away. Miss Kitt was unique. She was among the world's great entertainers such as Josephine Banker and Maria Callas who were one of a kind. She is gone, but not forgotten. In 1980, there was an exhibit of photographs by James Van Der Zee at the Oakland Museum (California).
